BUTANOX LPT-IN – 30 KG

Special initiator, providing longer gelling time for most ketone peroxides.

Parameters:

  • Form – transparent and colourless liquid,
  • Amount of active oxygen –  8,4-9,1%,
  • Ts max – 25°C (maximum storage temperature),
  • SADT – 60°C (self-accelerating decomposition temperature).

Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) in diisononyl phthalate.

Butanox LPT-IN is a special initiator designed for curing unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room or elevated temperature.

Compared to most ketone peroxides, Butanox LPT-IN provides a much longer gelling time.

Therefore, it is ideal for applications where a longer production time is required (e.g. for the production of large components or in winding technology).
